What if I don't get my 1st choice of program/campus?

Explore Pearl

At the time of application, candidates are required to fill their programme and campus preferences in order of priority. If the candidate's merit rank does not secure the first-preference combination — which may happen when seats for a popular programme at a high-demand campus (such as B.Des Fashion Design at Delhi West) fill up ahead of a candidate's rank — Pearl Academy offers the second-preference combination instead, subject to seat availability there.

If neither preference can be accommodated within the current cycle, candidates have the option to apply afresh in a subsequent admission cycle. Pearl Academy runs multiple admission cycles per year — typically in January, April, June, and August — which means a candidate who misses one cycle does not have to wait a full year for the next opportunity. However, a fresh application requires a new application form submission and payment of the application fee (Rs. 2,000 for degree programmes).
