The Lateral Entry route allows direct admission into the 3rd semester (2nd year) of a programme for students who have completed a 3-year diploma under a 10+3 scheme from a government-recognised polytechnic or university. The Student Migration route allows students who have completed their 1st year at recognised partner or affiliate institutions to transfer into Pearl Academy's programmes.
For both routes, the APL Admission Panel evaluates the applicant's prior learning outcomes through a review of transcripts, marksheets, and portfolio — and if approved, the candidate is called for a personal interview. Credit mapping, curricular alignment, and academic equivalence are verified before admission is confirmed. The process ensures that only genuinely equivalent learning is credited, maintaining academic rigour.
