The mode of learning
The M. Des. in Fashion Communication program at Pearl Academy is a comprehensive full-time program, emphasising in-person learning as its core learning methodology. To be eligible for the program, candidates need to:
- Have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
- Have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's degree.
- Submit a statement of purpose (SOP) and a portfolio of their design work.
- Undergo the Pearl Academy Design Aptitude Test (DAT) and General Proficiency Test (GPT). The DAT evaluates a candidate's aptitude for creativity, drawing, design, observation, imagination, environmental awareness and communication skills. The GPT evaluates proficiency in English, Logical reasoning, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation.
- Attend a personal interview with the selection committee and showcase their portfolio.
- Once candidates clear these rounds, they are welcome to enrol in the Post Graduate Diploma Program in Fashion Communication at Pearl Academy.
