APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning) is a process for assessing and recognizing one's prior experiential learning or certificated learning for academic purposes in the creative domain. Pearl Academy offers admissions under the APL entry scheme for students with advanced standing in the creative field.
General Information

Students studying in other creative colleges or universities may apply for lateral admission or student migration to Pearl Academy via the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) entry. Pearl’s APL Admission Panel will assess candidates under these criteria and – if selected – will call them directly for a personal interview and will offer them a seat in the respective levels post assessing their learning outcome.
- Lateral Entry (direct admission into the 3rd Semester of 2nd Year): Eligible for students who have successfully completed a 3-year diploma (10+3 scheme) from a government-recognised polytechnic or university under the lateral entry clause.
- Student Migration: Eligible for students who have completed preceding academic years (1st, 2nd, or 3rd year) from partner institutions like BCU and RISU and other universities recognized by Statuary bodies and Institutions of National & Internation importance, into equivalent CAES programmes under the RGNIYD MoA, subject to academic scrutiny, equivalence verification, credit mapping, and curricular alignment.
Documents To Be Submitted

- Duly filled and signed APEL application form
- Migration Certificate from the parent university/ Transfer Certificate (TC) from the last attended institution (Original)
- Copy of Academic Transcripts / Detailed Marksheets of completed semesters of last attended program of study.
- 10th Mark sheet
- 12th Mark sheet (If Applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Community/Caste Certificate
