Ethics in Advertising is a cornerstone of Pearl Academy's postgraduate curriculum. This subject focuses heavily on cultivating ethical marketing practices that promotes transparency, clarity, truthfulness, and social responsibility. Prioritizing these values isn't just about compliance; it is a proven strategy for building long-term consumer trust and safeguarding a brand's reputation in a highly critical market.
The core components of advertising ethics explored in the programme include truthfulness and honesty, absolute transparency and disclosure, consumer privacy protection, sensitivity toward vulnerable groups, and a deep respect for human dignity and diversity.
Our programme places significant emphasis on producing socially conscious leaders. Rather than treating ethics as a footnote, the curriculum integrates dedicated modules late in the programme when students are preparing to enter the workforce: Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility is mastered in the 5th semester, followed by Ethics and Legal Aspects in Advertising in the 6th semester, ensuring students are prepared with technical skills as well as enlisted values of collective responsibility for ethics and social responsibility.
