Dr. Preeti Yadav is a distinguished scholar who holds a Ph.D. in Visual Communication from the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IITG). Her research focuses on understanding the perception of young consumers regarding the design characteristics of mascots as a mode of communication in advertising. With over 19 +years of teaching and research experience, we are confident that Dr. Preeti Yadav will bring profound knowledge and insight to the vertical.

During her doctoral studies, she served as a visiting research fellow at the School of Design, Bovisa Campus, Politecnico di Milano, Italy. Additionally, she completed advanced courses in Communication for PR and Advertising at the London College of Communication and Typography at Central Saint Martin in the UK. Her scholarly contributions include publications in esteemed international and national journals, as well as presentations at international conferences.

Her academic achievements are commendable, including receiving "The Best Paper Award" at the ICCVAD 2018 International Conference on Communication, Visual Arts & Design in London, United Kingdom, and the "DISTINGUISHED PAPER" Award from the International Conference of Research into Design (ICORD'17). Furthermore, her paper was shortlisted for the "YOUNG RESEARCH AWARD" at HWWE15. Her research interests span a diverse range of topics, such as Advertising, Brand Identity, Typography, Packaging, Design Semantics,  Publication Design, Visual Ethnography, Information Graphics, Visual Interface Design, and Applied Arts.

Dr. Yadav has shared her expertise as a Professor at several esteemed universities in Delhi NCR. Moreover, she has played pivotal roles as a convener at various international symposiums and conferences, including the 15th International Doctoral Education in Design Conference as the Indian Hub Coordinator.

Besides her professional responsibilities, she finds solace in nature, capturing its beauty through photography; a passion she has nurtured for years. Additionally, she enjoys badminton, the exploration of new cultures through reading, and the thrill of travel and cycling. She believes it also contributes to her holistic development and enrich her perspective both personally and professionally.
