To study Fashion at Pearl Academy, applicants for both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs must take the combined GPT + DAT entrance examination. This assessment includes the General Proficiency Test (GPT) and the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which are designed to evaluate your general knowledge alongside your specific creative potential. The written portion of the exam lasts for 90 minutes and is followed by a 30-minute Personal Interview and Portfolio Showcase.
The examination is conducted online, allowing candidates to log in anytime between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on their specified exam dates. To prepare, the academy provides a mock test on their website within 24 hours of application submission, though this is specifically for candidates in the January cycle.
You must download your admit card from the Pearl Academy website two days prior to the written exam and one day before your scheduled interview. While the mock test uses multiple passkeys for practice, the live exam will provide you with a single unique passkey on your admit card to access the testing platform.
