1. The Brief

Make a reel that shows your transformation — you, becoming a character. The reveal is the point:

start as yourself, end as the character. How you get there is yours to decide.

Any character is fair game — anime, film, game, comic, mythology, or an original creation of your own.

2. Eligibility

• Open to everyone. No age bar, no institution requirement, no entry fee.

• Entrants under 18 must have parent/guardian permission before posting; by entering, you

confirm you have it.

• Individual entries only. You may appear on camera with others, but one person is the registered

entrant, and the transformation must be theirs.

3. How to Enter

1. Post the transformational reel publicly on Instagram (public account or the entry can't be seen

or judged).

2. Caption it with #CosMode2026 #StyledBeyondReality #Cosplayswitchupand tag &

@PearlAcademy @PearlAcademyDelhi handle on Instagram.

3. Scan the CosMode QR code and complete the registration form — name, contact, city,

Instagram handle, reel link, character name.

An entry counts only when both the post and the form are done. Hashtags alone are not a

registration.

Entries for reel reveal are not counted as entries fro The grand cosplay competition. Similarly entries

for Grand Cosplay Competition and Reel reveal are separate. Please read the instructionsand apply

accordingly.

4. Reel Specifications

Length 15–45 seconds

Orientation Vertical, 9:16

Platform Instagram Reels, public

Audio Any track available in Instagram's audio library, or original audio

Entries per person Only one entry per person

5. Timeline

Entries posted after the close date are not considered, regardless of hashtag.

6. What Gets You Disqualified

• Content that isn't yours — reused clips, another creator's edit, or a reel posted before 9

September 2026.

• AI-generated video or AI face-swap as the transformation. Digital effects and editing are fine;

the person becoming the character must actually be you.

• Deleting, archiving, or setting the reel to private before results are announced.

• Nudity, sexualised content, hate symbols, or politically inflammatory imagery.

• Dangerous stunts, real weapons, live flame, or anything filmed in a way that puts you or others

at risk.

• Engagement will be checked for authenticity .

7. Prizes & What You Win

• Winner — Reel Reveal Champion: trophy, certificate, and sponsor hamper.

• Top 10 entrants: guaranteed seats at the Grand Cosplay Competition as audience on 7

October, plus top 10 certificates.

Winners must be present at CosMode on 7 October to collect prizes on stage. Unclaimed prizes may

be reallocated at the organisers' discretion.

8. Rights & Consent

By entering, you grant Pearl Academy and CosMode permission to repost, screen, and feature your

reel and your name/handle across social media, campus screens, print, and event promotion, with

credit. You keep ownership of your work.

9. Organisers Discretion

The CosMode team may reject any entry that breaches these rules and may amend dates if

circumstances require. These rules are final as published on 5 September 2026.
