Bringing over 13 years of industry experience, Sagar serves as a Senior Faculty at Pearl Academy. An exceptional artist with talents spanning CG VFX, Motion Design and Video Editing, Sagar's journey commenced with an Animation and VFX degree from the renowned Manipal University. He also holds an Autodesk Smoke certification, proving his commitment to excellence and innovation.
Sagar's professional quest led him to the peak, becoming a key member of MPC - a top VFX house. There, he lent skills to iconic Hollywood films, including Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Parts 1 and 2, Sucker Punch, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Fast & Furious 4, and X-Men: First Class.
Notably, Sagar's video editing prowess earned "Best Editor" honours at the Suchitra Film Fest for his short film "Palmystry." Sagar’s diverse career includes roles as Senior Motion Designer at Byjus and Creative Lead/VFX Head at notable institutions. Besides, he has also made impactful contributions as a Creative Lead at the NH School of Design and as the VFX Department Head at Wiztoonz Academy of Media and Design.
Now, with over 13 years of multi-disciplinary experience under his belt, Sagar is empowering the next generation to shape innovative experiences through mastery of their artistic visions.
