Sachin Pathak is a Product Designer and Educator by profession. He worked as an Assistant Professor at State University of Performing & Visual Arts, Rohtak, Haryana. He taught both UG & PG in Product Design Department for 6 years. Being a Product Design by profession specializing in Ceramics & Glass Design from Indian Institute Crafts of Design, Jaipur in Masters and Graduated in Footwear Design from FDDI.
His interest lies in research and development in areas related to crafts & product design. Sachin was associated with various brands like Reebok, Adidas & Lotto as a footwear designer in the past for 2 years. He is also an empaneled designer with Ministry of Handicrafts, Govt. of India, for organizing various design related workshops.
Currently, pursuing his PhD from Banasthali Vidyapith in Design. He has written numerous articles & research papers in various books and journal of National & International Repute. His area of Interest includes Product Design & Sketching, Form Studies, Material Understanding, Indian Crafts, Languishing Crafts of India, Terracotta & Ceramics related crafts of India & world, Design Thinking, Sustainable Design & CAD. He has also worked as a designer with Clay Craft, Dileep Industries & Studio Sukriti etc.
