With 28 years of combined academic and industry experience, Bhaskar Das brings a dynamic and enriching atmosphere to his classroom. He fosters creativity, risk-taking, and problem-solving through hands-on projects, infusing real-world relevance into Fashion Design and Fashion and Lifestyle Business concepts.
Bhaskar's expertise encompasses a wide array of subjects, including sourcing, compliances (both social and technical), lean concepts, retail management, textiles, internship mentoring, and more. He specialises in guiding students through industry project areas like E-Com compliance and vendor management.
Educationally well-rounded, Bhaskar holds qualifications including a Mechanical Engineering Diploma and a Master of Arts in Education. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education. His areas of research interest span Academic Management, E-Learning, Lean Manufacturing, Mentoring, and EdTech. In 2020, he was awarded the Best Researcher Award at Pearl Academy.
