Ankan Halder brings passion and versatile experience as a Faculty of Photography at Pearl Academy. After earning a Geology degree, Ankan pursued his true calling, completing an FX School diploma in photography.
He began his career as a documentary photographer with NGO - Ashray, gaining insight into publications like Dainik Jagran and Prabhat Khabar. Eager to hone visual storytelling, Ankan continued studying photography.
With an impressive portfolio, Ankan has collaborated with renowned brands such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Tashi. He has also covered events for esteemed publications, including Prabhat Khabar, Dainik Bhaskar, and Maharashtra Times. He has a strong interest in travel and documentary photography, especially portraiture.
Guiding students, Ankan draws directly from his diverse photographic experience. With a youthful spirit, he provides real industry knowledge and empowers the next generation to develop their unique voices.
