Pearl Academy students present fall / winter collection of fabrics for Home Furnishing
under Fabric Folio ’07 at Tex-Styles India ‘07
Delhi , February 27, 2007 : Students of Pearl Academy of Fashion, India’s leading fashion and textile institute present design innovation and styling diversity with fall/ winter collection of fabrics under Fabric Folio ’07, at Tex-Styles India 2007 held at Pragati Maidan from February 27 th to March 2 nd, 2007. highlighted latest innovations in fabric finishes available this season pan India. It also presented a general assessment in the area of fashion fabric, wovens, knits, trims, and accessories among others
Fabric Folio ‘07 represents latest developments showcasing best of India’s apparel, home furnishing fabrics and trims. This year the focus was on innovative fabric finishes which included bouncy and surface smoothness finish, powdery finish, hydrophilic finish, elastomeric finish, antimicrobial finish (NMV2), stain release finish, antistatic finish, sensory perception technology among others.
A centralised venue for display of development oriented fabrics, Fabric Folio 2007 witnessed most innovative finishes from various companies. The display included traditional textiles from handlooms, power looms and developmental collections of manufacturers and craftsmen from India’s important textile centres.
