~ Pearl Academy Fashion & Media Make-up students present face paint and nail art for Holi ~
Delhi , February 28, 2007 : Holi is a celebration of the beauty of nature. It is a time when nature renews and refreshes herself. So how can students be far behind? Spring those colours and enjoy the festival! Students of Pearl Academy of Fashion present COLORAGE- face paint and nail art presentation to commemorate Holi.
The makeup changes every time according to the occasion. The overall impression and effect of the makeup gets changed in the shades of light. And the students of Fashion and Media make-up course at Pearl Academy of Fashion spring their creativity on the face through face painting and make-up on the eve of Holi. Apart from using the aqua colours, students also experimented with organic colours that can be easily made at home. The various colours used include Red – made from rakt chandan and rose, Green – from henna and tulsi, Yellow – from turmeric and marigold and Wet Colour – from dried tesu flowers. The students also created beautiful caricature on toes and finger nails.
Exclusively designed to impart training on international trends and techniques, Fashion & Media make-up course offers conceptual and practical study and training for those wishing to embark on careers as make-up artists in fashion and media industry.
Speaking on the occasion, Group Director, Mr. A. K. G Nair, said “Holi - the festival of colors - is undoubtedly the most fun-filled and boisterous of Hindu festivals. And In the midst of colors everyone wants to play safe and keep clean! So our students thought of using their creative skills to get the perfect make-up for Holi.” |
